Growth Outlook
Strong — SEBI's BRSR Core mandate for NIFTY 1000 companies from FY2024, SEBI's ESG fund categorization rules requiring genuine sustainability mandates, and RBI's climate risk disclosure guidelines for banks are creating structural demand for India-specific ESG analysts. Global ESG AUM inflows into India-focused EM funds also drive incremental demand at MSCI/Sustainalytics India offices. The IFRS S1/S2 adoption pipeline in India (expected phased rollout post-2026) will widen the ESG talent deficit further. Supply of qualified analysts remains thin — most SASB FSA and CFA ESG Certificate holders are still concentrated in developed markets.
